Step 1

Step 4
You need to understand what you are trying to accomplish, and how couponing works. This is how it all happens:There are manufacturer coupons (Kellogg's, nestle, colgate, etc..) and store coupons (target, kroger, walmart, etc..). Get a lot of coupons. Different sales happen all the time. Different coupons get dispersed all the time. And you need to be on top of all of it. The main source for collecting coupons is by picking up 5 - 10 copies of your Sunday paper. Remember the binders you bought? Well you're going to need them. Keep all your coupons organized in the binders so you can easily bring them with you when you go shopping. You'll use the weekly circulars to find out about the majority of the sales going on, but you'll also want to walk the aisles and just look around at what's on sale. Not everything is advertised.After a few months of acquiring and organizing coupons, you'll begin to know what you have and what you don't and you'll really start streamlining the process and developing your own techniques for taking advantage of this system.
