Courtney Hansen is a native Minnesotan, born in Minneapolis in 1978. The daughter of a former owner of the Brainerd International Raceway, Jerry Hansen. Since Courtney grew up in Orno, MN around pit crews, race tracks and auto garages she became an auto enthusiast, which translates into her great ability to relate to guests as well as host Spike TV's Powerblock TV!Courtney attended Barron Collier High School in Naples, Florida, then went to Florida State University where she earned her degree in Marketing. She spent a short time in the corporate world before decided to embark on her professional career in Los Angeles, California, which led her to some great opportunities in TV and modeling! Although, she even waited tables in several restaurant jobs at one time to make ends meet while still pursuing her goals.
Courtney's career started when she did a pilot for Jack Nicklaus' Killer Golf, as well as segments for Travel Show TV programming. She also became a fashion/fitness model gracing the covers of magazines such as Hot Rod Magazine & Muscle & Fitness Hers. In 2005, FHM honored her as one of the "100 Sexiest Women in the World". According to Maxim magazine the 5'9 Courtney Hansen's measurements are 34C-25-35. It's even been stated online that Courtney Hansen was a Playboy Playmate, but this info is hard to verify. Her movie roles according to IMDB have been a role as Rachel in the movie "The Hypocritic Oath" (2009) and a small role as a girls' chorus member in "Goodbye Lover" (1998).
Other shows that the beautiful Courtney Hansen hosted include a Spike TV special called "Great Builds", "Overhaulin", and "Rides". She currently hosts a Fox Sports Net's show called "Destination Wild" in addition to Spike TV's Powerblock, which is made up of four shows, each one half-hour in length. The four shows are MuscleCar, Horsepower TV, Xtreme 4x4 and Trucks! Currently on MuscleCar they are giving away a $50,000 custom made Chip Foose Mustang.
