Cinder Block Planters

How To Make Cinder Block PlanterIt's time to start thinking about spring! :)

This is a great idea for the backyard (or front yard!). We recently moved to a new place, and the previous owners left a ton of cinder blocks in one of the sheds that I noticed when we were cleaning it out. It looks like I'll be able to put them to good use!

How to Make Friendship Bracelets - How-to-Make-Jewelry.com

How to Make Friendship BraceletsMy grandma had given me a lot of her sewing and craft supplies a few months ago, when I was sorting through it all, I found some embroidery floss, which brought back memories of making these as a kid. I decided to make some bracelets and spiral staircase (chinese staircase) necklaces for my kids. They loved them, so I looked for other bracelet patterns online. I found this great site with several pattern tutorials.

Recycled Soda Pop Bracelets - TheGreenestDollar.com

Recycled Soda Pop BraceletAnother neat idea for soda pop cans. I couldn't find a complete tutorial for this, however there are a lot of suggestions if you click on the image, and link to the original site. I believe the soda pop can is actually an inlay, and the cuff is made out of a stronger metal.

Just be careful not to cut yourself!

Wonderful crafting ideas! I've never worked with sea glass but Lake Superior glass is the same thing and fun to work with. I love the cinder block planters but wonder about them in too much sun...would need a good water supply.
