THE BOOKS THAT HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE: NON-FICTION

Do They Have Bad Days in Heaven? Surviving the Suicide Loss of a Sibling

My brother Michael, died by suicide on April 25, 2005. I found out about Covenant House because of him. He brought a book about it home and told me that he thought I would be interested. He was right. Now that I am an adult I help by sending them money when I can.

The book "Do They Have Bad Day's in Heaven?" by Michelle Linn-Gust, really helped me get through and survive after Michael died. The loss of a sibling by suicide is like no other loss. Having this book helped me understand that I was not a lone and that the things happening to me were normal. I recomend this book to anyone who's lost a sibling to suicide or anyone who knows someone who has.

I keep my book where I can find it so that I can read parts of it over if I need to.
