Sooner or later, everything ends up on a pizza. Why not crab meat?

This crab pizza recipe makes a delicious appetizer, or main course. I never thought pizza topped with crab meat would taste so good, but I can't believe I never tried this sooner. Lump crabmeat as a pizza topping is one of the tastiest food combinations I have ever tasted.

Sweet lump crabmeat as a pizza topping?

crab pizza Lump crab meat has become one of my favorite pizza toppings. My crab pizza recipe was inspired by other hand tossed pizza's I have tried before that were topped with lump crab meat. It can be served as a main dish, or an appetizer.

I like to use pita bread foe my pizza crust, especially if you want to make individual crab pizza's. This crab pizza is great to eat as a snack also. I guarantee you have never eaten crab meat like this before, but it's one of the most tasty pizza's you will ever devour.

Ingredients:

1ea. 8-10" flatbread
1ea. roma tomato
1tbsp grated parmesan
1/4 cup goat cheese
1/4 lb lump crab meat
1tsp fresh basil (chopped)
1/8 cup olive oil
1tsp chopped garlic

Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven 375 degrees
2. In a small bowl, add the
lump crab meat, olive oil, chopped garlic,
mix well enough to ensure the crab meat is glazed with oil &
garlic.
3. Slice the roma tomato very thin,
squeeze out juice, and spread out
slices evenly on the flatbread.
4. Distribute the glazed crab meat evenly on the flatbread.
5. Top with the goat cheese, parmesan
and basil.
6. Cook for 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees.
7. Drizzle with lemon juice.
8. ENJOY!
