Lace Angel Ornament
LACE ANGEL ORNAMENT INSTRUCTIONSThis angel was made with 2" wide lace edging and is approximately 3" long.
Head - Place a 3/4" wide ball of cotton at the center point of a 6" length of the lace edging. Gather at the sides and tack in place with needle and thread, forming a round head. Wrap the thread around, forming the neck. The "tails" of the lace piece will form the bodice.
Wings - Two - 6" lengths of the lace edging. Turn under the short ends 1/4". Gather along one long edge of each piece and tack the two ends together, forming the wings. Place
wings under the head, pulling the ends of the head piece over and wrapping with thread to form the waistline.
Skirt - Cut a 10" length of the lace edging and sew the back seam, gather along one long edge and tack to waistline.
Sew on a gold brain halo and a gold bow at the waist.
