New Hampshire is home to the oldest (and some say, the best) artisan crafts festival in the USA. The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair takes place every August at Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH.
This juried 8-day annual show features quality artisan crafts and exhibits representing all media, along with fine arts exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment and children's hands on art experiences. Indoor and outdoor (under tents) exhibits include all areas of crafts, from traditional to contemporary. The show always begins on the first Saturday in August.

- The Claremont Farmer's Market reserves 8 spaces for crafts and charges us 10% of what we earn. Now that is supporting your local artist and craftsman. The Chamber of Commerce fairs are too expensive for my low cost items. Too bad, they draw a big crowd, but still does not cover the fees. How are you doing, I hope you are not too deep in snow. Sherry
