How To Make A Knitted Bell
These delightful knitted bells look adorable on gift baskets, baby gifts, candy jars, or gift wrapped presents. This is a very easy craft project as the knitted bells take just minutes to complete. which makes them a wonderful all season craft project.
Green, red, and white bells are perfect for Christmas gift giving. While pink, blue, yellow, and white make for wonderful add-ons to baby gifts. A friend of mine even requested enough white knitted bells to decorate her Christmas tree with. Of course I happily complied as I had quite a few tucked away at that time. These little knitted bells come in handy in a number of gift giving situations.
As each bell takes only about fifteen minutes to create, a pair of bells can easily be made in well under an hour. This pattern has long been a favorite of mine and I am sure that it will quickly become a favorite of yours, just give the pattern a try.
Using glitter wool adds a very nice Christmas atmosphere to these tiny knit bells...
Knitted bell pattern
Light weight worsted yarn
Keeping a long tail of yarn - Cast on 12 stitches
1st row: knit
2nd row: knit 8 pearl 4
Repeat these two rows 17 times
Knit on row
Cast off yarn.
Using the long tail of attached wool - Sew up the side of the bell.
Loop yarn through the top of the bell edging and then draw the top of the bell closed.
Attach a jingle bell on the inside of the knitted bell.
For a smaller bell use smaller needles and thinner yarn. For larger bells use a larger size needle and heavier weight yarn. These beautiful bells take just minutes to create. They really are just that easy.
Keeping a long tail of yarn - Cast on 12 stitches
1st row knit. 2nd row knit 8 pearl 4. Repeat these 2 rows 17 times.
You can see how the base of the bell is forming. Knit last row.
Cast yarn off....
Reverse side of knitting facing you, and using the long tail of yarn, stitch together the side of the bell.
Draw the top of the knit bell closed. Next we will attach a jingle bell to the inside....
A simple needle threader makes it very easy to attach the yarn to the bell...
Secure the jingle bell tightly to the inside of your knitted bell.
Flip your bell rightside and pull the drawstrings through. Tadaaaa.....
A pair of bells is just oh so pretty.

A mushy gushy little love dust mystery...
Since I moved in with my sweetheart, I have noticed a rather strange phenomenon in our home. Tiny glittery incandescent hearts keep turning up throughout the house. This is a very real occurrence. I have found these tiny shiny hearts in virtually every room of our home. It is almost two years now since I moved in with Paul and there is no reduction in the amount of these hearts that I find sprinkled throughout our home.
I began making a joke of these mysterious hearts, and whenever I stumbled onto a batch of them, I would post on my Twitter account that fluffy love dust was floating around our home again....A mushy gushy little love dust mystery.
Is True Love Accidental or Predestined?
It infects your mind, and your heart, and you haven't a clue why or how it happens. It just does. It's love, and how lovers find each other in this big wide world is as mysterious as the emotion itself is. Perhaps a magnetic or physical attraction draws you to your mate. Or maybe a brief glimpse into that persons eyes and into the emotion that rests deep within them is what lets you know that you have found love.
It may be that you are long term acquaintances, and one day you suddenly realize that you could not imagine your existence continuing without the other beside you, it hits home what you should have known all along...Is True Love Accidental or Predestined?

Think Happy-Be Happy
Let Your Endorphins Out To Play

When you participate in pleasurable activities like smiling, laughing, exercising or playing, your brain does an amazing thing and releases a little chemical message known as an endorphin.
These endorphins are feel good messages that have the power to actually remove physical and emotional pain. They travel down the spine, and then throughout your body, sending a feeling of well being as they go. These endorphins not only have the ability to relieve pain but they also have the power to make you feel happy. So remember to take time to play - It really is important.
