Crafts Using Buttons

Ideas For Using Buttons in Crafts

If you are like me, you don't throw anything away without taking off the buttons. The trouble with that is you end up with lots of buttons, but really nothing to put them on.

Except, now that is going to change. I have been searching for great crafts made with buttons and I've found some really nice ideas for using buttons on craft projects. It's truly amazing to see all the things that you can make with buttons and I'm happy to say that the projects listed below all have directions available also.

Some of the projects are easy crafts for kids to make, and there are a few more difficult projects that you may want to make yourself. Some of the crafts are suitable to frame and would make a nice gift or to hang on your own wall. I hope you find some of the ideas using buttons just what you have been saving all those buttons for. I know there are some I'm definitely going to be making.

Aleene's Tacky Glue

Original 8 oz.

Aleene's tacky glue is my favorite white glue. It works great when working with almost any medium, whether it's paper or styrofoam or any other surfaces used in crafts. It sets up faster than regular white glue, so that is a real plus for me.....I don't have a great amount of patience. This is a glue that I consider a "must have" for crafting.
