How to make your very own bag and be different

Cut it, glue it, paint it, what ever, then use it, day after day, then paint it again

I made this crochet bag in a few hours and it cost very little. But the most important fact is that I can colour it to suit what I am wearing. I think it is very clever and I have made many different types because they make great gifts.

Every woman I know has colour matching problems and this is a real solution. Try it for yourself, it a really fascinating thing to do.

The clasps are easy to come by, as are buckles and beads if you want to get adventurous. The material I worked is an art fabric called Koloron. It feels like paper but is as strong as fabric.

The difference is Koloron doesn't fray when it's cut so you can do anything with it.. What I do is cut it into strips about half and inch wide and start to crochet. You can glue or stitch the pieces together and attach the clasp and handle. Then comes the clever bit.

Koloron Art Fabris can...

Koloron will take most forms of colour so it's up to you to be creative, I used acrylic for this bag but I uses many different mediums. This bag is simply made in double crochet with a 5.00 hook. Koloron was as easy to use as any traditional fabric or yarn.

I prepared this bag for a garden party and matched the colour to my shoes and made a Koloron trimming for my hat. The fun isn't over though, I can paint it again or add patterns of other colours, there is no end to what can be done if you are creative. You end up with very trendy bags that get a lot of admiring comments and people never see the same bag twice.

Hello, I sell a number of different handbags on my website made out of African fabrics, but I'd never heard of koloron. Since I also sell a number of differents fabrics, I am going to check koloron out.
