    Happiest of Holidays to you Pastiche! Great lens. I regret I'm not terribly crafty these days - but I used to be! I used to make "Christmas Crackers" that I was introduced to in New Zealand - I'd take the cardboard cores from toilet paper rolls, and "rig" them up to be "Pulled Apart" at a seam when opened. I'd fill them with little candies and trinkets and wrap them in gift paper. It was a lot of fun! :) Hugs, Kath

    As for home made being cheapskate, in my experience, it usually costs more to do home made gifts because you end up making more for more people or adding it to another store bought gifts, or increasing the quantity, etc.

    Christmas is to me about spending time with people. Making stuff with someone is a good way to spend time together. Also the opportunities for reuse and recycling here are fantastic. Crafty Christmas's are a winner all around.
