Crazy Crafts Online.

Crazy crafts online can be beautiful ART that will change your mind about laundry and trash.

Yes it is something you throw away nearly everyday.

Yes it is so creative it's hard to imagine how it's made.

Yes it is something anyone could have done, she just has perfected the ART.

Yes the ART is in "Ripley's Believe it or 'Not"

CRAZY

Yes you can buy her ART, but you'll have to check out her web page.

Here's an excerpt from her bio: "Heidi continues on, determined to make the best art she can with her limitations. She began working in polymer and other materials, and has recently found that dryer lint can make a very interesting medium as well! Her work has won her awards, and the dolls have been featured in Contemporary Doll Crafter magazine and elsewhere.

In 2010, Heidi was honored to be featured in the 2010 edition of Ripley's Believe it or Not book. Ripley's also bought a number of dryer lint pieces which are showing in their museums around the world"

AND THE LINK TO HER WEB PAGE

You read it right - she makes art out of dryer lint. What a Crazy Craft.
The picture here is on her web page at this link: SOLD TO RIPLEY'S

This page on her web page shows you the steps to taking up this fine-art as a hobby.

Crazy craft - Newspaper furniture.

I'm not kidding.

Newspaper Furniture ArtThis is only the beginning because as I peruse the web, I plan on really going to town on this lens. Yes this is for real furniture made out of newspapers. I'm so pleased I could find this on-line because I saw it years ago and actually downloaded some .pdf files to start this craft, but how silly is that since -

I'M ALLERGIC TO NEWSPAPER INK

So , if you try it let me know how it goes, in the meantime I'll occasionally read the paper and wash my hands quickly before I break out in large bumps that itch, blister and scab. I just hate this allergy, it really limits my creativity - NOT!

HERE'S THE LINK TO YASMIN SETHI - NEWSPAPER FURNITURE

Crazy craft - folding dollar bills.

Folded Bucks.

Shirt folded from one dollar bill (US $)I received this as a gift several years ago and then found a book in Washington D.C. at the Bureau of Engraving gift shop. The book has several ways to fold dollar bills into recognizable shapes.

No Kindergartners were harmed robbing these color pencils from their stash.

My Sister did something similar to this:

Neck Tie School Bag

My sister's husband died. After his death and all the details that must be handled, there came the time to go through his clothing. My other sister is so creative. She snagged all of the ties in his closet. She took them home, cut and patched them together into pillows to regift to family members. Here's a sample of a good use for old ties.

These arm warmers are made from pieces of several sweaters.

I'm creative too - Arm Warmers from old wool sweaters

So-o-o unique.

A Handbag out of Newspapers???

A sweet tribute.

Making beautiful music!

Super idea for making flowers for accessories.

Melt the edges of organza fabricYES - holding fabric near a flame. Do not try this at home (without super caution). You may not want the hubby to see you do this the first try, just show him the end result, then tell him how you did it, or your fabric may end up with fire extinguisher foam all over it.

Just another crazy idea in the neighborhood!!
Now this is fine detail - and clever.
