Crazy From The Heart Is

What a fun romp Crazy From The Heart is! A romantic comedy that shares the life of a quiet, strict, strait-laced and totally respectable female high school principal who is settled in a predictable long-term romance that is going nowhere fast...

She shocks everyone when she agrees to go on a date with the Mexican janitor and, of course, she has no idea that she is about to fall in love. However, the date turns out to be a roaring success and thus begins the crazy adventure that will see her put firmly in the eye of a small town gossip mill and scandal.

Unfortunately, this 1991 made-for-television movie is amongst those rare VHS videotapes that has not been issued on DVD. If you want to own it, you will have to buy a VHS copy.

On this page you will find more information about the movie including reviews by ordinary movie viewers like you and I who love this movie, some of whom watch it over and over again. You will also find more basic information, a link to the official video trailer and sources to buy your copy of CRAZY FROM THE HEART.

Crazy From The Heart Movie Review From Epinions.com

"CRAZY FROM THE HEART is a great movie that illustrates aged-old truths about the relationships between men and women, small-town prejudices and ethnic stereotyping. It brings back fond memories of summer evenings spent in Mexico and southern Arizona in the company of wonderful Hispanic friends and it raises social consciousness about how groups are typecast and pigeon-holed, by seemingly innocent methods (like billboard advertisements and job positions.)

CRAZY FROM THE HEART is a definite keeper for anyone's video library." ~ sdmcroy on epinions.com

Amazon Customer Reviews of Crazy From The Heart

"I fell in love with this movie the first time I saw it. Somehow it always makes me feel that we can find love and happiness if we are willing to take a few risks. There is a reason this movie has almost all 5-star reviews...you can't help but feel good after you watch it." ~ Susan Duncan

"The main character (Christine Lahti) finds the courage to follow her heart and fight the system so she can be happy for the first time in her life." ~ Sandra G. Hardway

"This movie is WONDERFUL! One of those 'secret' chick flicks we all enjoy when we discover it. I have been searching for this one for years. VERY warm and loving and at the same time, real. I true joy!" ~ Miranda

"I searched the planet for the video...and when I finally found it I was bummed to see that the cost was right around $100. No matter, I paid because I just had to have it.' ~ Chickenbutt

Crazy from the Heart is what I am about this movie, which I have the privilege to watch periodically. This made-for-TV movie, a delightful romantic comedy, takes us on a marvelous journey of love, personal growth, and spiritual courage. Warm and sympathetic performances by Christine Lahti, the multi-talented Ruben Blades, and William Russ make this marvelous entertainment." ~ Evergreen
