Hello there! My name is Shelley, but you'll find me on the web as either shelxland or cre8ivegrl - and before you ask (and yes, some of you already have) there are other people who use cre8ivegrl or similar spellings so not everything on the web with that name is me. But I digress. I've been playing on the internet for 17 years - yes, way back when you put your rotary phone handset into the external modem. As the internet has grown, so have my interest and activities. Some of my work is even internet based now.
I am married to the man of my dreams and have 3 boys and a foster daughter. I grew up in a small town in Wyoming but live in SW Washington now and LOVE IT! The rain, the green, the ocean and if I really am having snow withdrawls, I can drive up to Mt. Hood and get it out of my system.

Couponing
It started out as a way to save money, but now that I am saving over $400 a month it's totally about finding the best deals and working the sales. My goal is to save at least 70% on my shopping trips (90% if I'm cherry picking) and I almost always meet that goal.
I do read on message boards like MyCoupons, Fat Wallet and the Grocery Game, but I also have a group of like-minded power couponers from my little corner of the world that I email with. They are priceless.
I have a link to the Grocery Game a few sections down and I get most of my coupons in the paper, magazines, online, Ebay or I get them from Rachael at the Coupon Clippers.

Oh, and if you were wondering about how I consider it a part-time job? I figure I am saving a minimum of $400 on groceries and household items a month. If I were to go out and get a part-time job, I couldn't make that much after paying for gas and daycare. So I gave myself a job...and the more I save, the better I get paid. Not to mention I can bring my kids with me to my work.

Photography is my passion. I recently acquired a Nikon D40 and haven't stopped taking pictures since.
