Is Creamy Peanut Butter Better Than Crunchy?

Ranked #3,028 in Food & Cooking, #59,021 overall | Donates to ONE Spirit

HERE'S WHAT I THINK

When grocery shoppers reach the aisle that holds the peanut butter, not many will stand before the many jars and try to decide: should I get the "creamy" variety or the "chunky" variety. Most consumers have a long-established choice of which type they will buy. I have only had the chunky type only once in my life...and despite the fact that I really like to eat whole peanuts on a regular basis...I am not at all inclined to eat my peanut butter with small chunks in it. I want my peanuts whole and my peanut butter creamy! So which is the preferred peanut butter? I say creamy. Let me hear what you say.

The average child will eat 1500 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before they graduate from high school.

Interesting lens! It's nice that we have a choice, but it seems that most people are dedicated to one or the other--not much switching back and forth.

Peanut butter is one of America's favorite snack foods and mine. So how does "creamy" stack up against "crunchy"?
