Are you a keeper? Do you see objects around your house and think, "Oooh, I should save that because could use it...someday." Or do you love taking photos but always feel the urge to put a story with it???
Well, scrapbooking may be a hobby for you! It involves a lot of time and patience in developing the art. But I love it because it allows me to use my own stuff and create my own sense of 'art' on paper. Plus I get to preserve memories in the process!

But as I share my completed albums with others, I find more and more people who are frustrated because they just don't have enough time to do this kind of keepsakes. That's why I started the company Create-A-Craft....so that regular, busy people have simple tools to accomplish this kind of memory-keeping. It's all hand-made so that your creations will be personal and unique to your memories.

Why are photos so important? Because they tell us a story.

Look at these great shots of this cute little one. They are a story in and of themselves. But it's dualy important to have great backgrounds that will support and ENHANCE the photos.

And how do you 'support' and 'enhance' using your backgrounds? Well, there are several ways:
1) Color choice: choose background papers from the colors in your photograph. The background can be monotone (shades of one color) or vary within a color range.
2) Theme related: What's the story of your photo? Is it a graduation?? Well use papers that have graduation hats on it.
3) Mood & tone: Use the tone set by the pictures and carry that through with the background colors. For example, use pales or pastels for 'soft' photos and use dark shades to represent calm or saddness.

So use your imagination and share those photos!

Using color is so important when creating a page. Color can reflect our moods or enhance the photos or simply draw attention to the subject at hand.
