Create Your Own Custom Doodle

There are two ways you can create your own custom Doodle speaker. In the image above, these are indicated by the numbers one and two.

The first option is great if you want to add an image that will cover the face of the speaker. Next to the arrow, you will see an image with the options to change or clear. To put your own photograph or image on the speaker, click replace and follow the instructions below.

Once you click to replace the image, a dialogue box like that shown above will open. Near the blue arrow, it shows the options of "My Computer" and "My Images". My images refers to any photographs or images you may have uploaded previously, so you may not have any images showing in the box like the one shown above.

Click on "My Computer" and follow the prompts to upload your chosen image to the folder. Once that has occured, the image will be replaced on the Doodle speaker.

Please ensure that you only upload photographs that you have taken or images you have created, or have permission to use.

Now that you have image on the Doodle Speaker you may decide that it is exactly as you want it and it doesn't need anymore added. Then you can simply add the custom Doodle speaker to your shopping cart.

But, if it is like the image above, you may decide you want to change the background color or even add some text. The options really are only limited by your own imagination. If you want customize your speaker more, click on the "Customize it" button, shown on the image above, just below the picture of the speaker.

If you want to change the background color, click on "Edit" Menu, shown near the top blue arrow. Scroll down the menu and click on "Background". A new box opens, giving you a choice of many colors. Choose one by clicking on the individual color or enter the hex code for the color you want.

Given the bright colors in my design, I am choosing black as a great contrast.

If you want to add text to your design, click on the "add text" button shown in the picture above. A dialogue box will open for you to write your desired text.

In the blue box shown in the picture above (next to the bottom arrow) are all of the button you may need for customizing your text. The main ones include the font style, font size and font color.

You can also align the text - left, center or right, and can flip it sideways ot even upside down. Play with these buttons to see what you can create. If you make a mistake, you can either delete it or click the "revert" button to start from the beginning again. Don't be scared... play with the options and most of all have fun.
