You can also distribute free versions of your software with limited features. And if people want to unlock some of the features of your software, they simply have to buy the full version. It is also important that they know how to use it, because functional software is worthless if it is not user-friendly. - Promote your software on the right channels.

These websites are reliable and people are more willing to try software from them rather than from other sites wherein they are going to run the risk of downloading a malware or a spyware. Be sure that your software is not associated with these destructive programs. Because when it does, you have lower chances of selling your software at all. - Get affiliates to sell your software.
For your software to achieve maximum popularity, try attracting potential affiliates to sell them for you. The job of your affiliates is to promote your site that carries your software for sale. Any affiliate who bought the software from their marketing efforts will be entitled to a certain percentage of the sale. There are a lot of affiliate scripts available on the internet these days. You can use these scripts so that it becomes easy for you to track which affiliate made the sale for proper compensation. Affiliate marketing is still the best way to sell products on the internet.
