Attracting Butterflies To Your Garden
Butterflies are one of the most beautiful and delicate creatures in nature. I look forward to watching them flitting from flower to flower in my garden.
What plants or shrubs do butterflies really love, and what other things will attract them to your garden?
The goal of this lens is to help you create a garden that butterflies will be attracted to so that you too can enjoy the beauty and grace that butterflies will bring to your own yard.
Plants And Other Things That Butterflies Love

I have found that the butterfly bush, butterfly weed, azalea, lilac, marigold and impatiens are butterfly favorites and make for a lovely garden. I have two butterfly bushes in my garden and I have seen so many gorgeous butterflies on them.
Water is also a necessity in your butterfly garden. A birdbath, pond, or small pans filled with water and set a bit into the ground will keep your butterflies coming back.
Butterflies also like to rest, so a few strategically placed rocks in your garden is a good idea.
Hummingbird feeders also attract butterflies. They will eat from these feeders and you can enjoy watching the hummingbirds too!

- Dearest Mary, Perhaps because I live in Canada, I was unable to view your video feed. I love butterflies. I really need to decide on how to plan my garden (or tell my man-servant how to do it - ha). I always loved lilacs and marigolds, glad they attract butterflies. Stay well, Rose
