What is the biggest problem that people reported with audio?
These were the biggest five issues:
1. Not knowing where to start with audio.
2. Not knowing what mic to buy, or where to get them.
3. Not knowing about CD fulfilment & distibtion and where to go.
4. Not knowing where to get good affordable graphics.
5. Don't know how to use audio editing tools like Audacity.
By far the most frequent problem was not knowing where to start with audio.
The problems included how to record, what software to use, whether they needed a digital voice recorder, whether they needed to go into a studio, what was possible at home, and what to do first. Questions also included how I set everything up - the physical setup and the software configuration and settings.
The survey was complied from questions to forums, answers to specific questions I asked via Askdatabase, 1:1 questions from clients, email discssions and questions I have had from workshops.

So many people start recording with a mic that really does not do their voice justice.
