Creating a sitemap for your website is important, on Squidoo create a Lensography
A sitemap for your website is very, very important. You can automatically create an up to date sitemap in a number of different versions for all the main search engines. This does not work on Squidoo. For Squidoo, the alternative is to create a Lensography of all your Lenses and groups. Some methods are shown below.
Creating a Sitemap, 5 different types, and all are important
Types you need are in the format .html, .rss, .xml, .txt, .net and are always placed in the main directory of your website. Different search engines use different types of sitemaps, i.e. Google uses an .xml sitemap. Yahoo uses a .txt sitemap etc.

How to create a Lensography
Creating a sitemap in Squidoo is different. The method I use, is to create a Lensography Lens, and then add it to the Lensography group. It is then easy to create a link from your website to the Lensography Lens.-
