Creationary - Lego Board Games

I loved building with Legos as a kid, and now I still love Lego building with my own kids. This new Creationary Lego game brings together the best of Lego building and family board games. In my family, some of us love board games, and some of us would prefer to build, so Creationary offers something for everyone for hours of family fun time.

This Lego game works for builders at all levels, because you can earn points by building or guessing. On each turn, one player builds and the others try to guess. When someone figures out what is being built, both the guesser and the builder earn a point. Several game mode options and three levels of difficulty make for more options to customize the gameplay to your group, making Creationary versatile enough for mixed age groups.

The Creationary game comes with instructions for several game mode variations for more variety and versatility when playing games with Legos.

• Mode 1: The basic game rules are simple. One player is the builder and the others (ideally, up to 7) are the guessers. Everyone guesses as the builder works, and the first player to guess right gets the point. The builder also gets a point and then becomes a guesser as the next player takes over building. Keep playing until everyone has had a turn as builder or until one player reaches 5 points to win.
• Mode 2: These rules are basically the opposite. One player is the guesser and up to 4 other players build at the same time. Each builder picks a different card, and the guesser watches all of them and tries to guess them all. Each correct guess scores a point for the guesser and builder.
• Mode 3: In Team Play, players split into 2-4 teams of 2 or more players each. One player on each team starts as the builder and picks a card. All the teams start building at once. The first team to guess what's being built scores a point. The first team to 5 points wins!.
• Mode 4: Everyone works together to beat the clock. First, decide on a time limit and set a timer. The first builder picks a Creationary card and starts building something for everyone else to guess. As soon as a correct guess is made, the group scores a point and the next player picks a card to start building. See how many correct guesses you can get before time runs out, then play again to try to beat the team score.
