The Creation Museum
The Creation Museum opened to the public on the 28th of May 2007.
The Answers in Genesis website says that, "The Creation Museum will proclaim to the world that the Bible is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice and in every area it touches on. This 'walk through history' museum will be a wonderful alternative to the evolutionary natural history museums that are turning countless minds against the gospel of Christ and the authority of the Scripture."
The official Creation Museum website says, "Designed by a former Universal Studios exhibit director, this state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life.
A fully engaging, sensory experience for guests. Murals and realistic scenery, computer-generated visual effects, over fifty exotic animals, life-sized people and dinosaur animatronics, and a special-effects theater complete with misty sea breezes and rumbling seats. These are just some of the impressive exhibits that everyone in your family will enjoy."

A brand-new museum plans to take old-time religion to new scientific heights. The Creation Museum's goal is nothing less than proving that everything the Bible says about creation, the flood and the universe is literally true. The museum is located in Petersburg, Kentucky, just two exits away from the Cincinnati Ohio airport. It is celebrating its grand opening Monday as the nation observes Memorial Day. I don't think that Genesis should be taken literally, however recent studies of the ancient writings from Sumeria and Babylon show that the story of creation, the flood and man's earliest days did happen, but the account in Genesis is a very summarized version of the original writings.
