Remember how Tinkerbell sprinkled fairy dust in Peter Pan? I like to think of angels in a similar way, so crosscreations is a combination of Tinkerbell and an angel. Who doesn't feel happy to receive a bit of sparkly dust from an angel or a fairy?

A Squidoo Lensrank Boost
Lensmasters are chosen to serve as Squid angels for a period of time and are given an extra 'angel blessing' tool to their dashboard. This tool allows that Squidoo angel lensmaster to sprinkle 'angel dust' on certain top quality lenses of their choosing. This angel blessing will give your lens a brief boost in rank among Squidoo lenses, so that hopefully more people will see it.

My own angel blessings are chosen not by any rigid and strict set of 'rules' but rather for originality and a personal touch most of all. I look for original content and unique ideas, maybe a perspective on a topic that is very unusual. This angel is also impressed by a thorough perspective and a well-formatted and complete lens from beginning to end, one that clearly was given some thought before hitting 'publish' for even though it is possible to publish a lens in a few minutes time, the result if obvious.

Meet a Few Wonderful Squidoo Artists!
I've come across a few Squidoo lensmasters who are professional artists that you might really want to 'know' if this category is of interest to you, for they've created many lenses in their niche. For art journals, you really need to meet 'the raggededge' and be dazzled by her unique and delightful art journals. Then there's 'Intuitive' who is a gifted mixed media artist, and has created several impressive art lenses. 'Pastiche' is a talented graphic artist - go to her for clip art and digital art of all kinds.My pick for the queen of scrapbooking would be 'CitiesChick' who has published numerous creative lenses for scrappers. And last but NOT least 'LakeErieArtists' is very active among the Squidoo network and owns an art gallery in addition to her many other creative journeys.
Is There a Dark Angel?
Well yes, sort of... you see...
Squidoo Angels also have the power to 'ding' a lens, which would lower the rank. I've felt very hesitant to ever 'ding' a lens, and instead am much more likely to just click out and just leave quietly. However, the 'dings' DO have a purpose in terms of keeping Squidoo free of spam and junk. So to 'ding' a really lousy lens can be considered a service to the entire Squidoo community.I think all Squid Angels would agree that we do NOT want to see the following, and guilty lensmasters could receive a dark angel ding for these 'squidoo sins':
*Violations of Squidoo TOS
*Lists of links with very little in terms of original content, we are not running a link farm here.
*Sales lenses that scream of 'buy me' without quality focus on the WHY (features and benefits)
*Copied content from amazon reviews or elsewhere without your own personal touch. This is plagiarism. Write your OWN words or else quote it and give credit to the author.
*Ditto above for images. Use your own images or else credit the source.
*Poor spelling and grammar

Did I miss an extremely creative lens in this category?
