Creative Costume Ideas for Adults, Children and Couples
Do you like to make costumes, or buy costumes? Personally, I prefer to buy them, as I simply don't have the time or desire to create costumes from scratch.
However, I do know a few people who really love to be creative without the help from a store product, and hey, that's perfectly fine, and sometimes hilarious too.
If you're like me though, finding a great costume to buy is just as exciting, and works for a busy life.
Below you'll find some creative costume ideas as well as where to find tips on how to make your own unique costumes.

Creative Couple Costumes
Buy a Couples Costumes
What costume will give you the feeling of being creative? You can buy creative couple costumes (you'll see five really great couple outfits below), or you can buy single costumes, and match them up with other single costumes to create a truly unique approach to costuming.
For example, here are some ideas:
1. Elton John's new baby's Godmother is Lady Gaga. Have one partner dress-up as Lady Gaga
, and the other as a Baby, and call yourselves "Baby Elton Gaga" (you may get a few questions on this one!)
2. Have one person dress-up as Purple Grapes
, and the other as a Wine Bottle, and call yourselves "Before & After". However, if you can't find or make a Wine Bottle Costume, have one person dress-up as a Wine Goddess
, and call the team, "Feeding the Beast" - ha! - great idea for avid wine drinkers!
3. How about one of you dress up in a Pea Costume
, and the other in a Dog Costume
, and call your couples costume, "Dog Pea"...ha!

Glee Costumes
A Very Popular Idea
It seems that Sue's Tracksuit and Megaphone are making their way into costume parties! Put on a short blonde wig and you just may get some serious laughs. In fact, if you're going to a costume party with a group of friends, you could all dress up in a Glee Costume, more specifically, Sue Tracksuits! Call yourselfs: "Stepford Sue's"!
You could also call yourself: The Dancing Sue's, Flash Mob Sue's, or Sue the Sequel...ha!. Personally I think a "Flash Mob Sue Team" would be hilarious, especially with the sue megaphone!

Is dressing up as a Cat creative? It can be. It's how you accessorize, and perhaps how extreme you get with your costume.
Creative Cat Costumes are all about the statement you want to make about being a cat. For example, think about the mood of a cat, and build a costume around that mood. For a lazy cat, you could attach a cat bed around your mid section.
You could also write out "mood cards" and put them in a pocket, and have people at the party take one of your cat mood cards! On each card include a cat joke as well.
These are just a few ideas of some of things you can do to spruce up any cat costume.

If you're little girl is good at art, she may want to dress up as a "paint set" or if she's good at math, she could dress up with complicated match questions written all over her costume, or dress her up as "Pie" as a play words.
If your little girl wants to go the route of princess, fairies, or beauty queens then perhaps you could dress the costume up with wild accessories. Or she could be very different and dress up as "The Castle".
