Nice! Very creative. Reusing items for a Valentine's day craft is a very good idea. Might as well look for reusable items here in our house. Hope I could make something good out of it. 5*

I love the whole idea of recycling items to make crafts! My son frequently does that ~ it's not unusual for him to start pulling things out of the recycling bin and create something cool with it!

My mother was an expert at reusing things. Both she and my grandmother made rag carpets so no clothing ever went to waste. I also used to help her make quilts and could pick out my favorite dresses I had outgrown. My book covers were re-cycled paper bags. Wonderful lens with wonderful ideas. And you might be interested to know that it was found by someone playing the Lensmaster Roulette game. Check out SquidU under Challenges and Contests.

I see it all as being frugal and a good steward of what God has given me rather than the commonly used "green" term. But at any rate, reusing things is smart.

You go green, girl. If I was still a teacher, I would be using all of these craft ideas at school. Good job.

Every time I go to throw something in the trash or even the recycle bin, I should come here (and other lenses of your about re-use) before I toss it. Between ideas like this and composting, we wouldn't even NEED a trash can. Wouldn't that be nice. Wonder if the city would give us a refund on trash pick-up. Hmmm....

    Very creative, I love it!
