Creative advertising
With the apparition of the guerrilla marketing, advertisers charm us by make us feel real emotions, sometimes when we expect it the less. It's harder and harder to catch our attention regarding the number of ads that we see per day. So, it's even more efficient when we really fell touched by a message.
Those following ads are efficient and touching. Some are so creative than the boundary between art and advertising becomes very blurry... Enjoy!
Angry birds advertisement
Even if you haven't dressed up as an angry bird for the past Halloween you could not have missed the phenomenon. Ever seen an angry bird plush and smile at its expressive face? Ever played the game or heard of it and wanted to be a part of it? Well...guilty, right? This ad has been made by Google to promote Google Chrome by using the famous angry birds characters.
This is just entertaining: instead or patiently listen to the message without feeling anything and then forget it, this ad just makes us smile and register the idea behind the whole appealing scenario.
This is like a parody of a boring press conference. All the 3 of them are seated and aligned to face journalist's question. But they look angry, jaded and remain funny unlike a traditional presentation where speaker tries to be good looking. Their faces are really expressive but do not changes along the speech, no matter what they say.
They are interrupting themselves every time one of them is trying to explain us the concept of Google chrome. This makes us feel like a student who has fun unlike what he expected from the class.
Just like with the slide a drawn over which makes us laugh.
... Who has never wish to see this kind of joke in the right middle of a boring and endless meeting?
Angry birds
Softlan- Who said violence?
What were you feelings when you used to grab your favourite teddy bear after a fight or just like that -with no special reason? Strength, cuddle and kindness were probably one of these.
This is what this ad made by Y&R in Malaysia is about. If you like to be surprised and see a fun anachronism, you are going to love this one.
Whether you like to watch wrestling game or not, it is not famous for being tender and sweet. Not at all -see the movie The wrestler from Robert. D Siegel-.
The man on the left just gives a big affective hug and cuddles his partner instead of using the required violence.
This is really unexpected and this shift makes us smile. This humoristic strategy is efficient and surprising.
His huge smile is also contagious, and makes us instantly in good mood.
Evian: Let's get young!
The Peter Pan complex is quite common nowadays, and we all refuse to age or leave what we cherish since we are a kid.Feel young and be young. Even the marketing surveys have found out that there was a difference between the demographic age and how old we feel. That what this creative ad is about. The strategy of Evian over the past few years has been to communicate about the youth that a bottle of Evian would provide you. Dancing is also an efficient way to charm us and catch our attention. Combine those ingredients, mix everything up and get an amazing result.
We are first surprised buy the catch phrase "Let's obverse the effect of Evian on your body" which holds us in suspens. Then the man turns off and we discover his tee-shirt: all we can see is now his adult head on the top of a baby body like a funny puzzle.
It's then the beginning of a whole dancing show with a lot of different people from every age, look, sex and race. They all have very expressive faces that make this creative ad even funnier.
It spreads joy all around, and their happiness is more than contagious.
Evian: forever young!
Coca cola
Coca cola's ad agencies are famous for making great creative commercials that inspire happiness. This following ad totally deserved the buzz it has created and stays in your mind right after you have seen it.
It begins with an everyday life scene: a young man inserts a coin in the machine to get his Coca Cola bottle. It's the beginning of a whole story that takes you to wonderland.
The camera follows this coin and enters into a whole new world. The music is optimistic, crescendo and allegro. This is just cheering up, and all the small strange characters keep hopping all around the bottle to fulfil it and get it all ready for the consumer. This ad is a kind of a reminding of the Christmas imps preparing the presents in a fairy and happy atmosphere.
The scenes happen in many different places just like a whole epic course to get the perfect result.
The size is minimized and the bottle seems very huge compared to the small characters. Just like Gulliver's travel, the product is predominant.
The final is like a collective triumph: the product is cheered like a masterpiece. All seems to stop when the bottle leaves this magical world and falls into the machine...
But the musical recall proves that the magic is still there once the man grabs it.
Coca cola- Welcome in wonderland!
