How to design your own calendar
Designing your own is easier than ever
Make your own calendar with as little as one high quality piece of artwork. It can be a picture of your newborn, young toddler with his favorite toy, or child making his own sand castle at the beach. Or, it can be your own original piece of art, as long as it is digitized.
If you don't own a digital camera, ask your film developer to put a digital version of your photo on a CD. A picture in clear focus, with proper lighting, will likely be of sufficient quality for your calendar. If an image is too dark, it can be edited in the computer with Adobe Photoshop or another photo editing program.
Be sure to check on and follow sizing requirements of the company you choose to make your calendar. Many will require one photo for the cover and a photo for each month of the year.
If you have your own art sofware, you can make your calendar in an 11 x 17" format, topped with your favorite photo and print on a quality color printer. Or use calendar design software. Read about free calendar design software here.
