Family Portrait Art Collage
A great gift for a mom or dad or grandparent!
1. Find a family portrait, or any cute picture that you might want to use for this project (you might want to scan one and print it out, or make a blown up duplicate copy...).
2. Count the people that are going to participate in this project (your family members, or a group of grandkids).
3. Cut the image into that exact amount of preferable square or rectangular pieces.
4. Give a piece of paper to each person of the approximate shape of their piece of the picture. (But, about the size of a regular sheet of paper...)
5. Have each person paint or draw their piece of the picture on their piece of paper!
6. When everybody is done, place each drawing side by side and see what you're finished collage looks like!
(An interesting finish for this project would be to put each drawing in it's own frame and hang them in order on the wall. Very unique looking, and would be a great gift!)
