What would my favourite writer gift be?

It would have to be notebooks - notebooks of all kinds. I love the hardback ones that look like proper books though. These are great to keep and refer back to in the future because they don't fall apart easily. They can also be ideal for working on writing projects you know you'll be doing for a while too.
I got a Squidoo notebook for Christmas last year and I've used it to jot down all kinds of ideas, suggestions and 'must do things' for my Squidoo lenses! It's ideal for the job and I'm glad I got it. It was an unusual but much loved gift.

A journal is a writer's best friend. I've been keeping one every day for the past four years, and it's invaluable for ideas, jottings and therapeutic writing. As far as creative gifts for writers are concerned, it's one of the most practical ones you could buy.
