All creative people require inspiration. Actually, everyone should have a little now and again, since we all are creative people. Whether you are a graphic designer, photographer or fine artist, hopefully, I'll be able to pass over some photography, sketches and means of finding inspiration that you may not have thought of. Also, feel free to contact me with your inspiration-inducing blogs, photo sources and tips that I can share.

Hopefully, if I can use this space to help inspire myself, it may help inspire some other folks to be more creative.

feel free to email me with any cool inspirational stories you might have.

What has been your most successful means of garnering new business?

From an interview with Dave Fletcher by HOW

The best way to generate new business is to continually produce the best work you can for existing clients. Positive word of mouth is exponentially more powerful than a dozen "million dollar" promotional ideas. Create evangelists of your agency/studio by going the extra mile for existing clients.

What's your sure fire cure for creative blocks?

From an interview with Dave Fletcher by HOW

It depends. Sometimes the cure is removing myself from the office to take a walk outside - other times I cna simply change the music from rock to jazz. There's no patented formula for getting into the "Zone" of creative bliss, or someone would have sold it by now.

Having a good sketch/idea book is important. It's always positive to step away from the computer and look inside your sketchbook to revisit some old, albeit "fresh" ideas.

Also, a good digital camera is a great way to capture a memento/color/visual that you may not have time to sketch or document quickly. Carry one always in your pocket or bag.

Turning your guitar up to 11 never hurts, either.
