Make money on Amazon instead of spending it!!
Time to clean out your closests and dust off the books. Why do you keep them? Are you really going to read them? Let me answer that for you... NO! Sorry, I sound like an advertisement. This is an easy way to make money, seriously! Amazon! I made around $400 over the last few years. I invested no money in any books to sell. But I know people that do and make a killing. I only sold the books I wanted to get rid of before our big move overseas. It is free to sell on Amazon, they take a small portion of the final sale. You can also sell DVDS & CDs and all kinds of other things now. You should check it out. I buy all my books used on Amazon, too. It save me a ton of money. Learn about my home business opportunity!

Advertising Tips
I spend no money on advertising. I have a link to this blog on my signature in my email and any forums where I'm allowed to do so. Don't be a spammer and just send out random ads, expecially to your family. They hate it! Just include a link with your signature, if they wanna click it, they will. Blogs are too easy. Mine is free! I'm not paying for something just so I can customize it a little more. I don't have time for that. I have joined forums that are for WAHMs and put my blog link there. I'm also active on the boards, I don't just go there for advertising. Don't be a bum, post answers to other people's questions and you ask some, too. Make sure and read the user agreement when you sign up, make sure you advertise where you are supposed to and follow all the rules.Get some business cards. Click on my link for Vista Print You can get 250 free business cards and just pay shipping and handling. You can get postcards, magnets and all kinds of advertising stuff for free. Once you order something from them, you'll get coupons and deals for other free stuff all the time. I've ordered about 1000 cards from them and paid about 15 bucks. You just order 250 at a time, when you create your card on the site they'll save it for you and then you can just hit reorder to get more, still only paying s&h!
Another great thing about CafePress is that you can make unique items just for yourself and/or your business. You don't have to pay to start a basic store, seriously-zilch! You can put your logo on a ton of different items from shirts to bumper stickers and calendars. These are great marketing tools. Also, when you purchase items from your personal CafePress store(s) you get it at cost, no markup.
What I'm working on is scanning in my biz card from Vista Print and then putting it on note cards, tshirts, bumper stickers and tote bags. Let me know if you have any questions on that.
Also, leave your (free, so who cares) biz cards everywhere you go! Make some that don't have you phone number on them, if you want, just your link or email. Make some that are just for marketing (aka, blanketing your town) and some that have all your info on them for when you actually meet someone. You don't want weirdos calling at 2am.
Flyers are easy to make, too. Hang them on bulletin boards at day care or church or the library. You know, wherever people might go.
I do all kinds of work from home stuff, so it would be hard for me to advertise them all. So, I have this blog to keep everything in one place. On my cards I have my email and a link to my blog. I also make rosaries (offline), so I have cards for that and flyers that I hang at our chapel. Everyone's approach is different. I'm just throwing ideas out there that some people may not have thought of. Let me know if you have other creative ideas for advertising, I'm always looking for more.
Jeez, I'll shut up now!
Don't Get Scammed!
Avoiding Scams Can Be Your Biggest Problem!
Noone wants to get scammed. Check out the link to some resources to help avoid getting scammed. Avoiding Scams! Try also, to listen to your gut! If it seems to good to be true, then it just might be. Do some research, talk to other people that are doing it. What The Heck Is CafePress?
A quick overview!
Cafepress.com is what's called a "POD" or Print on Demand company. You design stuff with photography, digital art, writing (you can publish your own books!), sketching, you name it. You choose what products to put the designs on (shirts, calendars, mugs, greeting cards, what have you) and set your markup. Then you can market your store (or not... it's really up to you how much work you want to do, but the more you work, the better the sales!) and voila! people buy. Cafepress handles the money, the printing, the shipping 99% of customer service, return policy, and some minimal marketing.
How much can you make? The sky is the limit! When you set your own markup, you can price it any way you want. The base price is what CP charges.... say, 99 cents for a button. You can sell it for anything over that... 1.15, 2.00, 4.99, whatever (and YES people do sell buttons for $5 a pop. I've seen it, but I don't do it myself). That is your commission.
Fees: There's supposed to be a new fee schedule sometime by the end of the year, as of now, here it is....
If you want to open a basic store, you pay nothing for the store. That's right.... zilch. the downside? you can only have 1 of everything in your store.... 1 black tee, one white tee, one large mug, one small mug, etc. It's lucky that CP has a LOT of products. On the other hand, if someone wants THAT Green tee and you have a different design on that tee, well, they're out of luck. Also, the customer cannot email you and say, "hey man, that's the BEST photo... can you put it on a green tee for me?" Most people that have a basic shop have 1 design on umpteen products for that store.
This is one of my first stores, I only have basic stores right now. www.cafepress.com/urablessedmama
I'm trying to learn more and get it all figured out before I really invest money. Even though it is a small amount.
If you don't know HTML, don't know how to design, don't know your ass from your elbow, it's all good, because CP has info rich forums that will tell you everything you need to know, pretty much. I signed up and didn't know anything about anything. I asked a WHOLE lot of questions and read a LOT of tutorials and everybody was very sweet and taught me everything I needed to know (and believe me, I'm still learning a LOT). They have links to free/cheap designware, logo generators, search engine feeds, and much more.
Let me know if you have any more questions.... If you decide to sign up, please use me as a referral (my store ID is sweetdealgifts) so I can hear about your store and help you in any way!
I've made over $120 now and even earned a $30 bonus!
I know this is a ton of info and I could talk about it for days. I'm having a ton of fun and learning so much doing it.
Below is the link to my referral page. Check it out and let me know if you have any other questions!

An excellent lens on how to make money for individuals starting out online I suppose. Personally I recommend people start as early as possible developing their skills. It's a pretty large learning curve to be honest, for those individuals keen on going through it though I suggest they check out my page at: Make Money Online, I hope you find the information useful.
