Well, sort of ...
There are certainly thousands of websites and television commercials that make you think you can get a free credit score, but here's how it really works.
You sign up for a 7-day free trial, see your credit score, and then jump through forty-eleven hoops to cancel your account before you get charged. Some people call that getting a free credit score; others call it stealing.
But what did you really get for free? You got a credit score that showed your actual score for one day in your life. You see, everytime you pay a bill or everytime you charge something on your credit card, your personal financial situation changes.
When your personal financial situation changes, your personal credit report changes, and when your personal credit report changes, your credit score may or may not change. More likely than not, it does.

- Credit is value neutral. It can be used for good and it can get you into a world of trouble. It worries me when I listen to my seniors talk about getting thier own (not their parents) credit card. They don't seem to understand that at some point they will have to pay it back.
Great lens.
