Crest Hermitage is a place where Nature and its colour and healing quality take centre stage.  Through daily working with the surprising quirks and patterns of nature over a year at Soul Food Cafe, under the position of resident hermit, Imogen Crest, I was inspired to create the world as I saw it, through Nature and colour.  The store is hosted by Cafepress and the products give back the connection to Nature that is often lacking in busy lives of modern people.  What you surround yourself with, becomes your reality.  This lens applies interesting information on Nature,colour and healing, and is linked to the store, where it can also be accessed.  Products are shown below, which are periodically changed, created as original photographic art by Imogen Crest .  Feel free to leave a comment in the box below, and explore the links to learn more about Nature, and the way it works for us, and around us.

Healing With Colour - The Chakras

"Every colour," Goethe, the German writer and philosopher, believed, "produces a corresponding influence on the mind." Nature is well known to have healthy effects when made a part of everyday living. Working with colour enhances healing work with chakras, the seven energy centres of the body. Meditating on these colours provides balance in the mind and then the body. Use the intuition to find the colour that's needed by placing these colours in a vertical line in order, on the fridge at home or the office cabinet at work, and "checking in" on them often throughout the day.
