It had to be tried - making a custom T-shirt using Cricut Vinyl to make a stencil.

And it could not be any easier to your very own cool looking t-shirt in under an hour. First you just decide on the type of image you wish to place on the shirt. Second create the stencil using your Cricut machine.

Once you have the image cut into the vinyl you are ready to weed out the un-wanted vinyl and then peel away the backing. Place your newly created vinyl stencil directly onto your shirt.

Of course, I didn't tell you the 'secret' you must know to make the image 'burn' into your shirt. It's nothing more than a bleach solution! Pretty simple huh? There is a Youtube Video below that shows everything in a 'step by step' manner.

Once you have your stencil applied to the shirt, and you might want to tape off the area to keep the bleach solution from spilling onto other areas of the shirt, you merely spray the solution onto the stencil.

Then wait a few minutes for the exposed area of the shirt to fade. The longer you wait the lighter the image fades. And remember, this will be permanent too!

When the fading is to your liking all you need to do is rinse your new custom T-shirt in the sink, let it dry and it is ready to wear! Watch the video below for a much better explanation...

Another fun product is Inkjet Iron-On T-Shirt Transfer Paper. Don't let the name fool you! You can use this on almost any fabric that you can iron. Also, it can be ironed onto wood, ceramic, paper, cardboard etc. This possibilities are endless. All you do is print your image on the transfer paper, and iron it on. You can create amazing prints on t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and other wearables along with mouse pads, coasters, printed drapes, kites, decorative ceramic tile, canvas, award plaques and well, as you can see, many types of projects.
