A story of three young men and one young woman bound for destiny's core
The game mainly focuses around Zack Fair, a 2nd Class (and later 1st class) SOLDIER in the employ of the Shinra Corporation. He meets many of the Final Fantasy VII characters, including Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough, with whom he develops strong bonds. The game's storyline takes the player from the war with the Wutai to the events at Nibelheim, and right up to the time just before the Final Fantasy VII beginning. (read more)

Debate: Who does Aerith truly love?
Oh, how we love FFVII love-triangle debates. The FFVII forum has the love-triangle between Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith and we all know that debate has been done to death. But since Crisis Core's release Zack has been added into the mix, and it's nice having something new to discuss in the love-triangle.

Zack. Aerith hugs Zack when Angeal is killed. Zack often gets a heads-up from the the townspeople in Midgar that she is especially fond of him. In Advent Children,Aerith is seen with Zack waiting nearby before both fade off together from Cloud's revival.Tifa looks at Cloud sweetly when catching eyes.
