Crochet Cabbage Rose Experiments

As the name implies, these crochet patterns are inspired by the cabbage rose. The unifying characteristics of these roses are that their petals are almost leveled at the top and the petals hug close to each other. Variation is achieved by changing the shape of the petals. These roses are made of two rows which are worked on both sides of foundation chain. As the last row is worked, the rose is curled in place.

These flowers are proudly made of plarn*. It was difficult to get clear shots of each flower because there's too much "shine", but I managed. I love the photos that I've took and used them on Zazzle to promote recycling.
