Psychedelic in 1931?

One of the most intriguing afghan books I have found is this one from 1931. The patterns are not the type I imagined from that time period.

My Favourite!

I think out of all the different afghan books, this is my favourite. Each of these looks warm and cozy. I knit and crochet so I can make any of these. I love granny squares and daisy wheel patterns and this book has both.

Unique Afghan Patterns

This is my second favourite afghan book because I love the uniqueness of these afghans. The cover afghan with the deer is gorgeous. The white Snuggles made with crochet loops for a matching cover and rug. Little Dorrit with the small flowers and, of course, Scottish tartan.

My grandmother used to make afghans with a similar pattern. Very pretty!
