Spotted Crochet Blogs
Spotted Crochet Blogs is a weekly round-up of crochet blogs I find throughout the week. I'm on a personal quest to find more crochet bloggers, connect with them, and support them.
As crocheters we know of the great community surrounding crochet and I want to highlight that in the virtual world. I know that Ravelry is for both crochet and knitting but I find that the predominate bent is toward knitting. CrochetMe is a crochet focused social network that is a great place to chat with others who crochet.
For those who follow Crochet Liberation Front you already know that her blog is undergoing some fantastic changes. Her site will now be a Membership site which means a greater potential to connect more intimately with other crochet bloggers.

5 Reasons to Blog About Crochet
Why Would You Blog About Crochet?
- 1Share Your Finished Objects - Keep photos of your projects and share with others who crochet.
- 2Keep a record of your progress - Some bloggers start a blog to journal about their crochet journey. It is really eye opening to see a chronological journey from making a chain to working on Tapestry crochet.
- 3Teach someone else to crochet - Show someone either through photos or via video how to crochet
- 4Keep your local crochet group updated - Open the blog up to everyone in your group. When someone has something to share they can add a post and a photo. This is really great for Crochet a Longs.
- 5Crochet Bloggers can also be Etsy shop owners - sharing the process of a custom piece helps your customers know you more.
