Crocheted by Lady Amaranth

I am a crocheter. I adore crocheting. In fact, one of the things I do a lot of is afghans. But I also do practical items, some of which I am offering for sale at my Etsy shop. Crocheting is an addicting hobby, I have to say that. You can tell when you're addicted to it because you'll be at a store that sells yarn, see a particular yarn, and say to yourself (or even out loud) that you have the perfect project for that particular yarn. Now that's what I call being addicted to crochet.

I have been crocheting since I was 11 years old. A housekeeper we had at the time taught me to chain and do single crochet stitch. From there I managed to pick up a few pattern books that taught me how to do various other stitches. Now there are few patterns I won't at least attempt to do. I currently own more patterns than I could expect to do in my lifetime!
