Nice lens. I'm picking your lens for the Mother's Day lens. My Mother did alot of crocheting during her years. She sold her work at craft shows. She was a great Mother. Nice to reflect on all the things she did. I also crochet, but haven't in a few years. Use to make doilies all the time. Thanks for sharing this great lens.

Wonderful selection of free crochet patterns. Being a crochet crafter, I'm always looking for fun new patterns to try, especially in the plush animals and toys line. Your crocheted items are so darling in your Etsy Shop. I'm lensrolling this to my Handmade Fiber Arts on Etsy lens and adding your Etsy shop to the group of Etsy Fiber Artists who also 'Squidoo' :). It's fun to meet fellow lensmasters who also have an Etsy Shop in the field of Fiber Arts.

This is great, especially all those instructional videos. I spent ages learning-as-I-went making a lilac poncho complete with gorgeous sewn-on beads for my daughter and she never wore it! That was the end of my crochet career. I did teach myself how to knit socks last winter!

Thanks for lovely comment on my LOTD!
• JoyfulPamela Jan 7, 2010 @ 6:01 am | delete

Congrats on LOTD! I learned to crochet a little years back, but haven't picked up on it due to a busy life. I do plan on getting back into crocheting in a couple of years when my kids are out of school and life isn't quite so hectic. I love seeing all the unique and beautiful things that are made using crochet work. Great lens!

Congrats on a wonderful LOTD - hooray for crochet! I'm still a fumbler and ripper-outer but I'm determined to get better. I've just started to crochet and knit again after 15 years or so, and I still have my how-to books. Love the video and all the patterns ... thanks!

I love crochet items -- actually have met online several squidoo lensmasters and bought crochet/knitted items from them! I've got crochet bags, hats, mittens, scarves, amulet bags -- so many cool items. My grandma taught me to crochet. Oh, that mustache hat is a hoot. Congrats on the lens of the day! ;)

My expertise is limited to the chain stitch. However, I grew up with a grandmother who could crochet pineapples. I loved her work, and still appreciate the beauty of crochet. This is a wonderfully informative lens.
