Slippers

Slippers come in a variety of styles ranging from footlets to ankle height. The wonderful thing about slippers is that they are fairly easy to knit or crochet and you can use your imagination to decorate any way you choose. They can be decorated to look like animals, birds or people, made from fuzzy yarn, soft yarn or very durable. Once the basic slipper is made, add buttons, ribbons, embroidery, sequins, flowers and more.

Some have soles attached made of leather or other durable material. Liquid rubber applied to the bottom is popular to keep you from sliding.

They make the most wonderful gifts as everyone uses and enjoys wearing slippers. You can browse a large selection of vintage slipper patterns and books or purchase these books in PDF format to download.
