3-Layer Crochet Wedding Cake Pattern
With this free pattern you can make a 3-layer cake and decorate it in the colors of your choice. You don't have to stick to what I have here, you can add beads, embroidery, fabric roses, or whatever your creative mind can come up with.

Small amounts of Pink 3ply-sock weight yarn (flowers)

Flowers, Leaves, Frosting
For Pink 'Frosting' or to 'write' on the cake, Just make a chain however long you need. I made one for each layer.Flower-Small Flat:
Ch2
1: 6sc in first chain made
2: 2sc in each stitch around
3: ch3, 3DC in first st, sl st in next stitch]* repeat around. End off leaving long tail to sew onto cake.
Flower- Rose:
ch 70
1: 3Dc in each stitch across, end off leaving a long tail. Weave in and out of bottom of flower, shaping as you go. Pull the extra yarn in and out of middle of rose to make sure it is held together. End Off.
Large Leaf:
Ch 20
1: 1 Hdc in each st across (18hdc)
2: 3 Treble in each stitch across
Weave in ends, Sew to flower-Rose
Small Leaf:
ch 4
1 Treble (3x's) in 3rd chain from hook. End off. Sew to flower or use to accent the cake.
