    Great crock pot cooking tips. Crock pots are very convienient. Set it up go to work come home and eat. You gotta love it.

    i don't really cook because i'm not very good at it. But this seems almost foolproof! Your tips were a huge help to me and your lens inspired me to want to buy a crock pot. One thing I'm not sure you mentioned though . . . what else do you put in the pot besides the meat and vegetables? also, how do you know when it's done?

    I try to use my crockpot every couple of weeks. I like the ease of just adding all the ingredients and letting it go, but I find my crockpot cooks too hot. This is the second one I've had that I need to cut the cooking time by 2-3 hours or everything turns into mush. Does anyone else have this problem?
