Hot Spinach Dip Recipe
* 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen, chopped spinach
* 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
* 2 tablespoons chopped onion
* 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup evaporated milk
* 1 (6 ounce) roll jalapeno cheese, softened
* 1/2 teaspoon pepper
* 3/4 teaspoon celery salt
* 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
* 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
* Dash of red pepper
Directions:
1. Cook spinach, and drain well; reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
2. Combine butter, onion and flour. Stir well and cook 1 minute. Add liquid and milk. Cook until slightly thickened. Add cheese and seasoning, stirring until cheese melts. Add spinach, mixing well.
3. Serve hot with crackers.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake you can make in your crockpot


Ingredients:


5 tablespoons unsalted butter, in small pieces, plus more for the cooker


3/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar, plus for lining the cooker


3 tablespoons dark rum (optional) 8 canned pineapple rings,


1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice from can


8 fresh or frozen cherries, pitted (optional)


3/4 cup cake flour


2/3 cup sugar


3/4 teaspoon baking powder


1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


1/4 teaspoon fine salt


4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened


1 large egg, at room temperature 1 large egg yolk, at room temperature


2 tablespoons whole milk


Ice cream for serving


Directions: Butter the inside of a slow cooker, line completely with foil, and then butter the foil. Turn on high. Sprinkle butter, brown sugar and rum over the foil on the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover the bottom with the pineapple slices in a slightly overlapping ring pattern, placing one in the center and pressing the pineapple into the sugar. If desired, place one cherry in the center of each pineapple ring. Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt into a large bowl; then whisk to combine evenly. In a separate bowl, beat the egg with an electric mixer. Whisk in the milk and pineapple juice. Add the egg mixture to the flour and blend well to combine completely Mix briefly at medium speed to make a smooth batter. Pour the batter over the pineapples and smooth with a spatula to even it out. Lay a doubled length of paper towel from end to end over the top of the slow cooker, to line the lid and create a tighter seal. (The paper towel helps to collect additional condensation from dripping off the lid back onto the cake.) Cover the cake tightly with the lid and continue to cook on high until the cake begins to brown slightly on the sides and springs back when touched in the middle, about 3 1/2 hours. Turn off the slow cooker and let the cake set, about 20 minutes more. Using the foil, lift the cake from the slow cooker; set on the counter to cool, about 30 minutes more. Fold back the foil, and carefully invert cake onto a platter so you can see the carameliz

Easy Slow Cooker Hot Chicken Wings

Chicken wings slow cooked with a spicy tangy sauce mixture which includes chili sauce, chili powder lemon juice and molasses!
Servings: 8

5 1/2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips discarded
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle chile sauce
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon salsa
2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt

Place chicken in slow cooker. In a medium bowl combine the chile sauce, lemon juice, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, salsa, chili powder, garlic powder and salt.

Mix together and pour mixture over chicken.
Cook in slow cooker on Medium Low setting for 5 hours.

Crockpot Chicken Breasts with Bacon

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
1 Tbsp flour
bacon slices

Wrap one uncooked bacon slice around each chicken piece and put them in crockpot.

Mix sour cream, undiluted cream of chicken soup and flour and pour over chicken.

Cook on low 6 to 7 hours.

Serve with rice or potatoes.

breasts
2 cans Veg-All vegetables, drain only

2 cans cream of chicken soup
Chopped medium size onion

Put in crockpot, stir, cook 4 hours. Serve over rice or in tart shells. (Chicken breasts maybe cooked in microwave. Put in round dish, cook on high 7 minutes, or until done..

It's an easy one dish meal.

Ingredients:
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans (2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 cup raw long grain converted rice
4 boneless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
Directions: Combine soup, mushrooms and rice in a bowl. With a spatula pour into a greased crockpot. Lay chicken on top of mixture and sprinkle with onion soup mix. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours

GOOD MORNING GRANOLA

10 cups old-fashioned oats (do not use quick-cooking oats)
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup nonfat powdered milk
2 cups dried cranberries or raisins
1 can (12 ounces) frozen, unsweetened apple juice concentrate, thawed
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe from "Slow Cookers for Dummies" by Tom Lacalamita and Glenna
Vance.

Lightly spray a 6-quart slow cooker with vegetable oil cooking spray.
Combine the oats, almonds, powdered milk, and dried cranberries in
the slow cooker.

Combine the apple juice concentrate, oil, honey, and salt in a bowl
and pour over the oat mixture. Stir to combine.

Cook, uncovered, on high for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
Reduce to low and continue cooking, uncovered on low for 4 to 6
hours, or until dry and crisp. Stir frequently while the granola is
on low to prevent over-browning.

Let cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container.
Makes about 24 half-cup servings.

1 lb dried beans
6 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoon minced salt pork

Cover beans with 3 times as much water in large saucepan. Simmer for 30 minutes. Let stand for 1 1/2 hours, or until beans are tender. Drain. Place beans in slow cooker. Add 6 cups water, dry mustard, pepper, salt, onion, brown sugar, molasses, ketchup and pork. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 10-12 hours. Serves 8.

Place in 4-6 quart slow cooker. Top with onion. In the skillet where you cooked the steak, combine soup and salsa and mix well with drippings. Pour over steak in crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8-10 hours. 4 servings

Chocolate Peanut Butter Crockpot Cake
2 cups chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients in bowl mixing well. Beat about 2 minutes.

Pour batter into greased and floured 2-pound coffee can. Place can in crockpot. Cover top of can with 8 paper towels. Cover crockpot and bake on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.

Super easy CrockPot recipe for working moms. It takes 10 minutes or less to throw in in the morning and you come home to dinner finnished. How great is that!

Ingredients:
1 sm pkg stew meat
1 pkg sausage or keilbasa "Polish sausage" (if you prefer you can brown the meat a little before adding is to your crockpot)
1 med onion chopped
3 med potatoes chopped
1 can baked beans of your choice (add a little bit of water if you are worried about the stew becoming dry - you know your own crockpot)

Directions:
Place the ingredients into crockpot in the order shown. Cover and cook 4 hrs on high or 8 hrs on low.
Serve with cornbread or rolls and a fresh green salad.
