Crocs Shoes have taken the world by storm! Initally nobody could even remotely imagine, that Crocs would become the phenomenon they are now...
Just look at these ugly pink monsters! They are everything but elegant, they are anything but beautiful - and still: Millions wear and love them!
This goes to prove, that a great, pratical and useful design for a product will always (almost...) bring success. People who wear Crocs once do not want to take them off again. They are VERY comfy, they are practical and by now they are hip and in!

The soles are strong and slip-resistant. That they are non-marking is understood, that's one of the traits of all Crocs. The anti-microbial and odor resisant treatment they get before you wear them is an added plus.

This is the original Crocs design. The 'Ur-Crocs' so to speak.They were described and still conform to this set of specs:
- comfortable, cool, and molds to your feet
- orthotic foot bed; advanced toe-box ventilation system
- slip-resistant and non-marking soles
- anti-microbial and odor resistant
- ergonomic italian styling; wide, roomy foot bed; made with croslite PCCR material
- buoyant; weighs only ounces
If you only had the description, and not a picture, this sounds like the perfect and very comfortable boat shoe it is. To lauch Crocs using the color schemes they had from the very beginning was both daring and - I think - VERY smart marketing.
People also say that the Crocs Beach is a perfect shoe to stand on your feet all day long.
