Crocs Are Non-Slip And Waterproof
A Favorite Among Nurses
Crocs Are Lightweight And Comfortable
More and more nurses, known for spending hour upon hour on their feet swear by this healthy lightweight and comfortable alternative to the standard crepe-soled nurse shoes of yesteryear or to walking shoes. AP quotes RN Jamie Jessick as saying, "They're so comfortable that it's like wearing slippers at work." Perhaps it is this connection to the nursing profession that first brought Crocs to the attention of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services which has approved the Custom Cloud model of Crocs with molded insoles for its diabetic footwear program.
Of course, nurses aren't the only professionals whose feet would welcome a change from ordinary shoes. The lightweight, breathable Professional line of Crocs would benefit the feet of anyone whose job involves walking. Experience the difference!
Put in a bid and soon you could feel like you're "wearing slippers at work!"

- Crocs would be acceptable only for a select few diabetics. Those that are not prone to diabetic foot ulcers, do no have a loss of protective sensation in the feet and whose blood sugar levels remain within targeted range.
The danger lies in that the crocs do not give enough protection over the whole foot. If the person living with diabetes happens to develop an injury over an unprotected part of the foot, it could lead to an infection and if that is left untreated, could lead to amputation.
If you have been assess to have a low risk for developing diabetic foot complications, then by all means, wear crocs from time to time.
