Crocs Sandals
Let me tell you a story. When I first encountered my first Crocs sandals at a store, I said to my wife, "Who in their right mind would buy shoes or sandals that look like that?" And she agreed with me. Trust me they aren't that pretty to look at.
I thought that these sandals came from an obscure manufacturer and they would be forgotten in a month's time. Nearly a month later, I still see them being sold at stores. Add to that, I kept on seeing people sporting these sandals. Then I said to my wife, "I'll never be caught dead wearing these Crocs sandals." And at this same moment I also thought that they would be a passing fad.
Then came my birthday, guess what my wife bought me?
CROCS SANDALS!
I was like, "Are you nuts? You know how I feel about them?" She told me to shut up and just try them on. Regardless of everything, being a good husband that I am, I tried them on and although I hate to admit it, to my surprise, these Crocs sandals were very light and so, so, so comfortable to wear.
Since that day, thanks to my wife, I'm in love with Crocs sandals and hence, this lens. I've been wearing my Crocs sandals everywhere I go and also been recommending these sandals to my family, relatives and friends.

"I love my Crocs, they are so comfortable and light, it feels like you are walking on a marshmallow. My 9 year old son starting wearing these last April, it is November and colder but he still will not wear anything else. He swears that nothing else feels so good. I am buying him another pair due to his growth but the others look like new, they have held up well. They are very light, so light they feel like air and you may mistake them for being flimsy but they are tough. When they are dirty you can hose them off, wipe them with a rag and they look new again. They do not tear or scrape, and they leave no marks on the floor. They have a strap that you can tilt forward like a clog, or slip behind your heel for a more secure fit. There are knock off brands that copy the look but not the feel as the others are heavy rubber, and not comfortable at all. With crocs you can stand on them all day, and they breathe unlike rubber. The nurses really were the first folks to flock to these, since they are on their feet all day they really watch out for comfort first. But these are great at the pool, the beach, wherever, and they are so cheap and come in so many colors you can afford to have a few. Also try Keens Newport H2 sandals." - microjoe

- I love my Crocs. Interestingly, they originated in Boulder, Colorado and I was in school up there when they first came out. I'd like to say that I was an early adapter, but I had to wait for the cheap knock-offs to come out first. Poor post-grad students with 4 kids and a long commute just couldn't swing the cost at the time. Now, though, we've got several pairs each - we use them for gardening, wet weather, and running out to the barn (it's so much easier to rinse them off!).

- I have one pair, lime green. I love them. They do seem to make my feet hot though. Comfortable otherwise. Cute lens.
