I had some of these where I used to live. Haven't thought about planting any more, but I do like the orange crocus.

I cannot believe that I am once again here almost a year later to refresh the blessings on this lens and I am leaving back to back comments. Your flower articles are beautiful and the simple crocus is usually one of our very first flowers. Thank you for bringing spring my direction.

I enjoyed my visit very much but couldn't get all of your images to come up...Google chrome doesn't like me very much lately so I may have to re-install it again. Have a wonderful week. Best wishes.

Beautiful lens! I love seeing crocuses. Such a beautiful sign that spring is on it's way. Blessed by an Angel.

Glad you came to visit me..Your crocus information is very good here; I didn't know about the fridge trick, really handy to know although I doubt we will need it here, but who knows?
I grow species crocus in my garden, and they come out very early, not as showy, but very welcome in the dead days at the end of winter.

Why does the lovely crocus have such a "croak" like name? Nevertheless, they are beauties. Your picture of the Pickwick Giant Crocus is my favorite. Those have such unusual coloring. 5 stars, definately!

Lovely lens - I wrote a story about a Crocus... got it published too, back in about 1988. One of my favorite flowers and I have some here in my yard.
