There are so many cafepress shopkeepers out there that, you would think, it would be impossible for any one to sell a lot of merchandise. The fact is, however, is that for every one shopkeeper, there are hundreds of people searching the World Wide Web for something to buy-- a few of them are even looking for something that you are selling (whether they know it or not). There are more than several individuals that make over $10,000 per year on cafepress.

The key to success is exposure. We want every search engine, especially the CP Marketplace, to result in our product or, even better, our shop to be displayed as early as possible. For every potential customer you reach through your own efforts, though, you can reach many times more by partnering with the other shopkeepers doing the same thing.

Let's face it. There is plenty of business out there for all of us and a recent study in Wired determined that very few individuals "window shop" on the Web. Instead they search for specific items, maybe do a quick price comparison and make the purchase. If you happen to have the item they are looking for, don't you want for them to find it and buy it?
